California ISO Partners With Dispersive Technologies To Bring SDN To SCADA Networks

ALPHARETTA, Ga., May 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dispersive Technologies, Inc. (www.dispersivetechnologies.com) and the California Independent System Operator Corporation (www.caiso.com) today announced the introduction of Dispersive™ Virtualized Networks (Dispersive™ VNs) as an alternative for securing telemetry throughout the ISO's service area.

Dispersive Technologies offers software-defined networking (SDN) solutions that dramatically improve network security, session-level performance and reliability.

The California ISO manages the flow of electricity across the high-voltage, long-distance power lines that make up 80 percent of California's (and a small part of Nevada's) power grid.
