The California Farm Bureau Federation is a non-governmental, non-profit, voluntary membership California corporation whose purpose is to protect and promote agricultural interests. "Fuel is a major expense for our farms. Negotiating a discount with Flyers helps the Farm Bureau provide more value for our members," said Paul Wenger, President.
"Keeping up with seasonal workers and varying volumes, locating dyed diesel, and/or navigating tax credits are the most common issues we see for our ag-related customers," said Jay Galvin, Flyers Energy Director of Sales and Marketing. Electronic security features improve fuel tracking and security, eliminating some of the risk associated with the fueling of company vehicles by employees. Controls are programmed into the fuel cards and include parameters like time and day restrictions, gallon limits and e-receipts. "There's a benefit for most multi-vehicle fleets to use a true commercial fuel account," says Galvin.
Farm Bureau is California's largest farm organization, comprised of 53 county Farm Bureaus currently representing more than 74,000 agricultural, associate and collegiate members in California counties.
Flyers Energy is the largest member of the Commercial Fueling Network and also offers fueling at 230,000 locations nationwide with the Flyers Fleet Card. Flyers Energy, LLC franchises the Flyers fuel brand and distributes wholesale and branded retail fuel, commercial lubricants, renewable fuels and solar power in the United States.
