SAN FRANCISCO, March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The California Integrated Data Exchange (Cal INDEX) today announced that CEO Dave Watson will be co-presenting at the Health IT Summit in San Francisco, April 5-6, 2016. Watson was invited to join a panel of industry experts for a discussion titled, "Interoperability: How Close are We?" to be held from 2:30-3:20 p.m. PT on Tuesday, April 5.
Watson, along with fellow panelists David Avrin, MD, PhD of the University of California, San Francisco and Bill Beighe, CIO of the Physicians Medical Group of Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz Health Information Exchange, will discuss the current state of interoperability and where the industry is in terms of the ONC's 10-year Interoperability Roadmap.
