Cadwalader Adds Recognized Washington Attorney to Business Fraud Group
WASHINGTON, April 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, a leading counselor to financial institutions and corporations, today announced that senior Department of Justice official Adam Lurie has joined the Washington Office as Partner in the firm's Business Fraud and Complex Litigation Department. Lurie joins the Firm one week after it was announced that Ken Wainstein, former United States Attorney for the District of Columbia and Assistant Attorney General for National Security at the Justice Department joined the Group.
Adam Lurie is returning to Cadwalader from the Department of Justice, where he was Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General Criminal Division. Prior to his most recent position at the Department of Justice, Adam Lurie served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Newark, N.J., specializing in securities and health care fraud and corruption matters, and as the Staff Director and Counsel for Investigations and Oversight for the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
