DENVER, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Cadre Technologies, a leading innovator of integrated, automated solutions for the fulfillment and distribution industries, has just completed its annual user conference. Held from September 14 to 16, 2010 in Overland Park, Kan., the conference brought together users that employ Cadre products in their businesses.
Mike Markham, Cadre's vice president of sales, called the conference "a great opportunity for our customers to update their knowledge of the Cadre systems they use, understand where we can collaborate together to win more business, and gain valuable insights for improving businesses processes across the board."
The conference began with a welcome and partner introductions by Bobby Kaemmer, vice president of support and services, and a "State of the Cadre Address" by Joe Peters, president and CEO of Cadre, followed by keynote speaker Dennis DuPont, whose presentation described the challenges of communicating effectively.
The wide-ranging general sessions began with how to provide the latest visibility, analytical and logistics management capabilities using LogiView, presented by Bobby Kaemmer. Kaemmer also updated participants on getting the best results when working with Cadre support and development teams. Markham told the group how working closer with Cadre could help them convert prospects to profits.
Guest speakers included Pat Oliver of Harland Technology Services, who spoke on managed services and maintenance; Rick Brumett of ABF, who presented a case study describing how ABF uses Cadre Technologies to provide lead logistics services and bring business to 3PLs; Brian Ellis of Tailored Logistics, who advised the group how to get their trucking and brokerage operations up to speed; and Sandy Vosk of Advance Technology Services, who talked about developing SOPs and optimizing the use of hand-held technologies.
Morning and afternoon breakout sessions devoted to each of Cadre's products were presented by various Cadre staff. Topics included utilizing LogiView and Accuplus products to optimize operations; and tips and tricks to maximize the use of Cadence on its own or in conjunction with ProTrack, a full featured labor management application developed by TZA, for effective labor management.
In addition, the conference introduced Cadre's Progressive Logistics Enterprise pledge to its customers, partners and employees.
