Cadence Health Names Gary Wainer, D.O., Medical Director of Cadence Medical Partners
WINFIELD, Ill., June 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cadence Health announced that Gary Wainer, D.O., has joined Cadence Medical Partners (CMP) as Medical Director. CMP is the health system's clinical integration and accountable care organization with more than 750 physician members.

CMP consists of board-certified or board-eligible physicians on the Delnor Hospital or Central DuPage Hospital medical staff. Members of CMP have access to care management programs that improve quality and reduce cost using advanced information technologies for patient data information sharing, analytics, care coordination and patient engagement.

Dr. Wainer joins CMP from the Chicago Market of Tenet HealthCare, where he most recently served as chief medical officer (CMO) of Chicago Health System (CHS), the Tenet market clinical integration and accountable care organization. Prior to his role at CHS, Dr. Wainer served as CMO and vice president of operations at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn. He has spent more than 25 years in private practice as a family practice and addictions medicine physician.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine as well as a member of the American College of Physician Executives.
