Cadence Health Foundation Names Chris Hensley President
WINFIELD, Ill., Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cadence Health, the health system created through the merger of Central DuPage Health and Delnor Community Health System, announced today that Chris Hensley has been appointed President of the Cadence Health Foundation. Mr. Hensley is the first President of the Cadence Health Foundation, which was formed following the merger of the CDH Foundation and Delnor Foundation.

Mr. Hensley, 42, most recently served as Regional Vice President of the American Cancer Society (ACS), the voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer. While at ACS, he was a member of the Illinois Division Leadership Team with responsibility for developing strategies and executing the organization's mission. During his tenure, Mr. Hensley led key initiatives that helped raise more than $8 million in 2012 and more than $50 million over the past nine years.

In addition to his health care experience, Mr. Hensley spent time working with State government, including four years serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Illinois Lieutenant Governor Corinne Wood.
Mr. Hensley earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Lake Forest College and is currently pursuing his Masters of Arts in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.
