Cabrillo Technologies Captures $37M SPAWAR Win

PHILADELPHIA, July 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- McKean Defense Group, LLC announced today that its Cabrillo Technologies business unit was awarded a $37M Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) contract to provide afloat, ashore, and airborne networks and information systems technical support services. The indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract has a five-year period of performance.

"This win builds on Cabrillo's three years of support to SPAWAR's CANES, Operation Rolling Tide, Legacy Networks, MSC and Application Integration," said Joseph Carlini, Chief Executive Officer of McKean Defense. Tasking will include assessing network requirements; designing system architecture; network modeling, simulation, and testing; network technology and prototype development; network security; information assurance and certification of networks; and network management. Cabrillo Technologies created a team of incumbent and niche providers to address SPAWAR needs. Large business partners include CSRA (formerly CSC) and Leidos Inc., both previous primes.
