CAA Goes Beyond Insurance with Certified Risk Architect® Program

AUSTIN, Texas, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Combined Agents of America, LLC (CAA) announced that it hosted a Certified Risk Architect® (CRA) Program with 23 CAA professionals participating in this exclusive training April 22-23 and making up the class of 2014. The Certified Risk Architect®, or CRA, is a new breed of insurance agent that is diagnostic, results-oriented and focused on managing and mitigating risks rather than just selling insurance. With 51 members based in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, CAA is an MGA committed to strengthening the independent insurance agency system through profitable growth and exceptional service for its member agencies.

The CRA program is comprised of a rigorous risk management training curriculum, designed to teach attendees how to conduct risk management audits, identify specific exposures, design and build comprehensive risk reduction plans, and to continuously monitor and update the plan based on the client's needs or changes to their operations. The CRA professional designation consists of a 12-month program to train and certify select industry professionals in the Beyond Insurance® process. To keep the designation, individuals must submit continuing education assignments.
