Ferguson, executive vice president and chief technology officer, will deliver an address on managing cloud-connected applications at CloudSlam'10™ at 1:00 PM ET on March 23. CloudSlam'10 is a virtual conference developed to promote collaborative analysis of the latest trends and challenges in the world of cloud computing.

Ferguson will explain how cloud-spanning management and security are essential for organizations to realize the benefits of cloud computing and virtualization. Topics will include:

According to Ferguson, almost all business applications are composite applications that utilize application logic and data running on multiple systems.
