SAN DIEGO, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CA BOTANA International announces several novel peptides designed to improve the skin's ability to defy aging, and provide a more youthful, vibrant appearance to the skin. These peptides were generated from the research collaboration between CA BOTANA International, Molecular Botanicals LLC and StemNext LLC and intended as raw materials for cosmetic formulations.

Bioactive peptides of high purity (>95%) and proven efficacy in vivo, along with ultrapure botanical extracts, are encapsulated into Alphasomes™, providing optimal efficacy. The peptides have been submitted for International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI) names.

  1. Alpha Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-5
    Alpha Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-5 contains two bioactive peptides and key botanical extracts that increase hyaluronic acid synthesis. The results are an increase in skin density, elasticity, firmness, and skin wrinkle reduction.
  2. Alpha Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5
    Alpha Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5 contains a bioactive peptide coupled with botanical extracts that enhance skin elasticity and firmness. This formulation also helps reduce inflammation, skin wrinkles, and has anti-aging, anti-oxidative, and anti-microbial properties.
  3. Alpha Oligo Peptide-6
    Alpha Oligo Peptide contains two peptides that reduce inflammation and increase collagen production. Combined with a critical balance of botanical extracts, this peptide normalizes itchy, irritated skin to provide a more youthful revitalized glow.
  4. Alpha Copper Tripeptide-4
