C-RAD Lays the Foundation for IoT Enabled Offerings With 123Compliance Software
HAMILTON, N.J., Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sparta Systems today announced that C-RAD has implemented Sparta's 123Compliance Quality Management Software into its business practice. 123Compliance is enabling C-RAD to not only deliver better service to customers providing radiation therapy to cancer patients across the globe, but to also lay the groundwork for future Internet of Things (IOT) -enabled services.
Last year, C-RAD recognized that the manual effort required to manage their quality records and processes was creating a bottleneck that inhibited the flow of information from one process to the next. Managing quality processes via email, paper and spreadsheets was cumbersome, inefficient, and error-prone. Thus, C-RAD sought to replace its manual quality management system (QMS) with an automated solution.
123Compliance, built on the Salesforce AppCloud® and available on the Salesforce AppExchange®, connects the quality department processes with other Salesforce.com functions such as Sales and Services – effectively improving the flow of information across C-RAD.
"The implementation of 123Compliance was extremely structured, easy to follow and exceeded my expectations," said Daniel Pederson, Quality & Regulatory Manager of C-RAD. "It only took 10 weeks to implement process configuration, testing and validation for complaint handling and CAPA Management. Now the QMS system helps us respond more quickly to issues, which further enhances the safety and security of our products."
123Compliance even provides a foundation that can be used by C-RAD to support creating IoT-enabled offerings for their customers in the future. C-RAD plans to integrate autonomous product feedback into their quality management system, allowing the company to predict when there is a high probability of product or component failure. Such foresight could then launch preventive actions from the company that can increase customer satisfaction and value.
"As C-RAD grows, we're confident that 123Compliance will be able to scale with the needs of the organization while continuing to support their advancement into IoT-enabled products and services," said Eileen Martinson, CEO of Sparta Systems. "C-RAD has proven to be a strong partner since implementation and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship as they embark on this exciting new chapter in their company's history."
