David is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in marketing, selling and delivering large scale value added solutions, applications and infrastructure equipment to wireless carriers around the globe. His experience includes 11 years at Comverse, a supplier of network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services for wireless carriers, where his last position was Vice President of Sales for North America. Subsequently, David served as President of Mobixell Networks Inc., a provider of wireless multimedia adaptation technology, where he was responsible for establishing the company's U.S. presence and promoting its technologies to the top wireless carriers in North and South America and to over 50 distribution channels consisting of system integrators, application providers and resellers.
Most recently, David served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Networks In Motion (NIM), a supplier of wireless navigation solutions for GPS-enabled mobile phones. Under his leadership, NIM's revenue went through tremendous growth, which led to the acquisition of NIM by Telecommunications Systems Inc. for $170M in December of 2009.
