Recall Summary
Name of Product: Bring Your Adventure (BYA) Sports hammocks
Hazard: A weld on the ring of the hammocks can fail, allowing the hammock to pull free and fall while in use, posing a fall hazard to the user.
Remedy: Replace
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hammocks and contact BYA Sports for a free replacement hammock.

Recall Details
Units: About 760
Description: This recall involves BYA Sports Double Hammocks sold in blue or orange. The nylon hammocks measure about 12 feet by 6.5 feet with an attached nylon stuff sack and metal ring on the ends. The BYA logo is printed on the front of the stuff sack. Hammocks with the following UPC bar codes printed on the back of the merchandising card attached to the hammock are included in the recall: 7456112010186 (orange) and 7456112010193 (blue). The BYA logo and "DOUBLE HAMMOCK" is printed on the front of the merchandising card.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received two reports of ring failure, including one report of bruising from a fall.
Sold at: Gander Mountain stores nationwide and online at amazon.com, dicksportinggoods.com, promotive.com and target.com from January 2015 through March 2016 for between $60 and $75.
