BV Investment Partners Announces Investment in TriCore Solutions

Third transaction in recently closed Fund VIII will support growth and market expansion for leading application management services company.

BOSTON, Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BV Investment Partners ("BV"), a middle-market private equity firm focused on the information and business services and communications sectors, today announced an investment in TriCore Solutions ("TriCore"), a leading provider of application and infrastructure managed services. The existing owners and management will maintain a meaningful ownership interest in TriCore.

Founded in 1999 and based in Norwell, MA, TriCore is a rapidly growing provider of application and infrastructure management services, focused predominantly on enterprise resource planning, database platforms, and data warehousing and business intelligence solutions. TriCore also provides infrastructure hosting and consulting services in support of its customers' applications. TriCore currently has over 250 customers who rely on the company to provide for 24/7/365 monitoring, maintenance and support of their mission-critical business applications.

Mr. Raina, Mr. Kinsey, and Mr. Wilder have joined TriCore's Board of Directors; additionally Armand Mignot, an Associate at BV, is part of the deal team.
