The Chicago event will host the official launch of SAP® Rapid Deployment solutions, and will feature keynote speeches by business guru Dr. Ram Charan and Robert Enslin, president of SAP North America. In addition to Enslin, the Santa Clara event features keynotes by Silicon Valley high-tech consultant and author Geoffrey Moore, and by Tom Peck, senior vice president and CIO, Levis Straus and Co.
Charan will share his views on how companies can increase and sustain organic revenue and profit growth through greater innovation and an emphasis on operational efficiency. Moore will present his vision of where enterprise computing is headed and how companies can get out in front of the curve. Enslin will speak about SAP's product and market strategy for providing the best on-premise, on-demand and on-device solutions with tight orchestration between all the layers. In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to choose from a number of different breakout sessions to further engage in conversations about line-of-business and industry solutions from SAP and partners.
"The combination of global and local market information, best practices sharing, and industry insights that can be applied to day-to-day business strategy and operations has made the SAP World Tour event series a success with attendees," said Enslin. "This year the SAP World Tour will feature technologies that companies can adopt at their own pace of growth and innovation, without disruption and for their specific industry needs, giving them the advantage they need in today's competitive marketplace."
SAP World Tour Global Event Series
The SAP World Tour takes place in more than 80 cities in over 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America. The global road show has reached more than 270,000 customers, partners and influencers over the last six years. In addition to networking with industry and regional peers and partners, participants gain from the event clear insight into a product strategy aimed at enabling SAP customers to extend the availability of business software on premise, on demand and on device — all orchestrated as networked solutions on the market's most scalable, feature-rich and stable core platform.
The event is designed to enable dialog with influencers, customers and prospects – along with members of the SAP ecosystem and parties interested in partnering with SAP. Through interactive formats, including industry- and product-specific breakout sessions, participants will learn how the SAP solution portfolio can help companies evolve their IT landscapes without disrupting operations, adapt more quickly to changing market needs, differentiate against tougher competition and execute sustainable growth strategies.
The SAP World Tour offers customers and partners throughout the world a local event similar to SAPPHIRE® NOW, the annual international SAP customer conference.
