Business As Usual (BAU) Security a key Ground Labs directive at RSA APAC 2015
SINGAPORE, July 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Data security is an escalating concern for many businesses worldwide. Hackers are constantly using new exploits, malware and attack methods to steal sensitive data assets, and many organisations are feeling the pressure to stay secure or face suffering a costly and embarrassing data breach.
This week, IT security experts from across Asia will come together to learn and share their knowledge on the ever-changing data security landscape at the RSA APAC 2015 security conference in Singapore.
Ground Labs, a security software company which helps organisations avoid becoming the next big data breach headline, will be exhibiting at the RSA Asia Pacific & Japan 2015 Conference. A key part of Ground Labs presence is to educate organisations on next-generation approaches to data security through focussing directly on the sensitive data residing on on systems. Using this as a ground zero approach, organisations can then remediate and protect the data before hackers have the chance to steal it.
Stephen Cavey, the Director of Corporate Development for Ground Labs, is aiming not only to showcase the company's flagship data security solutions at the RSA Conference, but also to spread the importance of making data security a key part of every organisation's processes.
"Many data security compliance standards, like the PCI DSS, stress the importance of Business As Usual (BAU) security, because verifying your state of security once every quarter is not enough to keep you safe. To defend against new threats, you must maintain constant vigilance and identify then fix security issues as they're identified."
Ground Labs will be giving live demonstrations of its updated Enterprise Recon platform, which allows users to scan their entire network for over 95 types of sensitive data. Enterprise Recon was built around evolving BAU security compliance requirements and enables scans to be scheduled on a recurring basis, alerting users to any new threats that may emerge.
The Ground Labs showcase will be located at booth E27 in the main exhibit hall.
The RSA Asia Pacific & Japan 2015 Conference will be held from July 22-24 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. For more information about the event kindly visit the RSA Conference website.
