NEEDHAM, Mass., Dec. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- OMG®'s Business Architecture Special Interest Group and the Business Architecture Guild present "Business Architecture: Taking it to the Next Level," a one-day special event on March 21, 2012 in Reston, VA. Information and registration information may be found at http://www.omg.org/ba-pr.
Event Overview
This one-day only event, cosponsored by OMG's Business Architecture Special Interest Group (BASIG) and the Business Architecture Guild, will bring together practitioners and industry leaders to discuss business architecture best practices and deployment strategies. Over the past year, business architecture has moved from being an interesting concept into the mainstream of businesses around the world. The conversation has shifted. It is no longer a matter of questioning the value of business architecture. Rather, more and more executives are seeking ways in which to capitalize on this rapidly evolving discipline.
According to William Ulrich, BASIG co-chair and Business Architecture Guild co-founder, "Collaboration between OMG and the Business Architecture Guild ensures that best practices influence evolving industry standards. This event is another milestone in the expansion and formalization of the Business Architecture community."
Business Architecture: Taking it to the Next Level will feature business practitioners from industry and government to share stories about how business architecture helped their organizations. Panel sessions will allow attendees to have focused discussions with practitioners and practice leaders, going beyond the superficial and focusing on solution oriented approaches and practices. Come and join us as we take business architecture to the next level. Highlights include:
