Business & Commercial Aviation is #1 Most Useful, Most Read Publication, According to Erdos & Morgan Study
ATLANTA, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- A new study by Erdos & Morgan shows that owners and operators rank Business & Commercial Aviation (BCA) as the industry's #1 business aviation publication, Aviation Week announced today at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) 2010 Meeting & Convention in Atlanta. When compared with competitors, such as Aviation International News (AIN) and Professional Pilot, BCA was selected as the most useful, most retained and most read, and was lauded for its comprehensive reports, useful avionics data, and well-written, relevant news and analysis.
Completed in September 2010, the third-party research found that business aviation owners and operators read BCA more than any other publication: 63% selected BCA, compared to 53% for Professional Pilot and 51% for AIN. Also the most useful publication, BCA was selected by 44% of respondents, while AIN was selected by 29%, and Professional Pilot was useful to 16%. BCA is also the most retained: 43% of respondents said they keep BCA for future reference; only 25% said the same of Professional Pilot, and 22% retain AIN.
"This study confirms BCA's undisputed market leadership and value to our customers. People who buy and operate business aircraft prefer BCA," said Greg Hamilton, president, Aviation Week. "Our business aviation Advantage is evident in BCA, the most useful, relevant and respected publication for business aviation professionals. We are excited to announce this news during NBAA and will continue to support strong editorial coverage, insightful how-to sections and unparalleled products for the business aviation community."
