Busche Performance Group Appoints Two New Senior Executives
Rounds out New Senior Management Team Based in Southfield, Michigan Technology Center
New Hires Bring Experience from BorgWarner, Nexteer, Joyson Safety Systems and other Premier Automotive Sector Companies
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Busche Performance Group (BPG) today announced the appointments of Christopher Lilla, Chief Financial Officer, and Tamika Frimpong, Chief Human Resources Officer and General Counsel, to the executive team. These appointments complete a revamped BPG C-suite, following the appointment of Joseph Perkins as Chief Executive Officer in August 2018.
Supported by the recent securing of a $150 million credit facility, as well as a substantial equity infusion from its shareholder group, BPG now has a strong senior management team and ample liquidity to support the next phase of the Company's strategy to build on its leadership position as a Tier 1 supplier of highly engineered automotive components for global OEM's. The majority of BPG's senior management team will now be headquartered at the Company's Southfield Technology Center/Corporate Headquarters, a state-of-the-art research and testing facility just outside of Detroit.

Mr. Lilla previously held senior financial management positions, including Vice President of Strategic Finance, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Joyson Safety Systems (formerly Key Safety Systems). In his roles he led the global financial planning and analysis and business planning teams for the $7 billion company. Among other duties, he was responsible for driving shareholder value, streamlining and optimizing new business pursuits, and developing governance structures to monitor, report and analyze significant integration related synergies for the $1.6 billion acquisition of Takata Corp. Prior to working at Joyson Safety Systems, he held financial management roles at Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation, Delphi Automotive and KPMG. Mr. Lilla is a graduate of Michigan State University with a M.S. and B.A. in Accounting and is a member of the AICPA and MICPA.
Ms. Frimpong was formerly Corporate Counsel at BorgWarner and Nexteer Automotive Corporation. At Borgwarner, she provided global labor and compliance counsel and served as lead attorney for commercial litigation management, including supplier disputes, product liability and warranty claims. At Nexteer, Ms. Frimpong guided executive decisions related to human resources and operational employment issues, staff and consumer data privacy, drafting policies and procedures, and training to meet data privacy and security initiatives. She previously worked at Chemical Bank and Lewis & Munday. Ms. Frimpong received her J.D. in Corporate Law and a Masters Certificate in Public Health Administration from Michigan State University, as well as her B.B.A. from Grand Valley State University. Ms. Frimpong has Bar admissions with the state of Michigan, the state of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
