Burst Media Receives IAB Quality Assurance Certification for Fourth Year in a Row
Company Certified As Providing Safe Environment for Brands
BURLINGTON, Mass., May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Burst Media, (www.BurstMedia.com), a premium provider of integrated advertising programs for leading US brands, today announced that it has been recertified by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Quality Assurance Guidelines program (QAG 2.0) for the fourth consecutive year. The IAB QAG 2.0 program is the only industry-endorsed certification program that exists for leading interactive publishers and advertising technology companies. This certification reinforces Burst Media's role as an industry leader in brand safety, and gives its customers another level of assurance that their advertising will be displayed in a high-quality, transparent and trustworthy environment.
"I am very proud that Burst was one of the first companies to receive IAB certification back in 2011 and today one of only a handful to have maintained certification four years in a row," said Sandy Demitroff, President of Burst Media. "This certification truly is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to give advertisers a quality advertising environment with full transparency. We trust that our certification gives marketers an extra level of comfort that by carrying the IAB seal, Burst delivers a brand-safe advertising environment and delivers on what we promise."
To earn certification Burst Media's internal traffic monitoring processes and procedures were thoroughly audited to ensure compliance with the stringent criteria set forth in the QAG 2.0 program. The QAG 2.0 program is part of a far-reaching industry initiative lead by the IAB to increase buyer control over the placement and context of advertising, build brand safety and clarify the advertising ecosystem by standardizing the information provided to advertisers.
The guidelines cover four primary areas: acquiring inventory; contextual taxonomy and targeting; inventory vetting; and data disclosure.
