Burnette Joins CCB as Market Executive in Vance County, N.C.

SOUTH HILL, Va., May 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CCB Bankshares, Inc., (OTC Pink: CZYB) welcomes William "Scott" Burnette as Vice President and Market Executive for Vance County. His primary focus will be lending to small and medium-size businesses. With over twenty years of broad banking experience, and a focus in commercial lending for the past ten, Burnette will continue the charge in bringing the "You'll love banking here!" approach to Vance County and the surrounding communities.

A native of Vance County, Mr. Burnette is a 1988 graduate of Vance Academy. Scott then attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking in 2013. Burnette is no stranger to the community or to community banking. Before joining the CCB team, Burnette Served as the Market Executive for another community bank where he built a strong portfolio and relationships within the Vance County community. "I am a relationship driven banker," says Scott. "My clients will tell you that with me it's not always about rates and terms. It's about relationships! Scott gives many hours back to the community through coaching several youth sports programs such as his church's basketball league, Kerr Vance Academy's Lacrosse team, Rival Youth Lacrosse program in Wake Forest, and Ascension Lacrosse Academy in Raleigh.
