Burleson LLP Hosts Aug. 27 Seminar In Midland On Legal Insights For Operating Company Aircraft

MIDLAND, Texas, Aug. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Burleson LLP, a full-service law firm devoted primarily to the oil and gas industry, will host a new seminar as part of its ongoing educational series on August 27 titled Operating Your Company Aircraft: Critical Things to Know Before You Buy and Take Off.  It will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Midland Petroleum Club. 

David Marshall, Of Counsel for Burleson's San Antonio location, will lead the complimentary event, which will include lunch.  His talk will address a wide range of issues related to buying a jet or helicopter and key legal insights to know before filing the first flight plan.  He will also cover what to do – and what not to do – in the event of an accident.

Marshall is a rated Airline Transport Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor with more than five decades and 4,300 hours of experience as a pilot.  His legal practice focuses on all aspects of aircraft transactions, including selling, purchasing, leasing, and financing.  He also counsels clients in regulatory matters related to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and International Revenue Service.
