Burg Simpson Attorney Joins American Board of Trial Advocates
DENVER, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C. is delighted to announce that shareholder Scott J. Eldredge has been invited to join the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA is a national organization with chapters in all 50 states, dedicated to protecting individuals' rights through the preservation of the jury system and elevating standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession. ABOTA's membership is widely recognized as constituting a "who's who" of the nation's most preeminent trial lawyers, entry into which is on an invitation-only basis.
Speaking of his appointment, Mr. Eldredge said, "I am thrilled to have been asked to join such a prestigious organization. When I see the caliber of trial lawyers who are already members, I am inspired. I strongly believe that an individual's right to a trial by jury is a precious right but one that is under constant attack from special interest groups and corporate America. I intend to do all I can to support the Association and the work of the national Board of Directors in helping to protect civil liberties and raise awareness of this extremely important issue."
Kerry N. Jardine, Burg Simpson managing shareholder said, "Everyone at the firm congratulates Scott on this prestigious appointment. As one of the nations' leading trial firms, we continue to grow our reputation nationally. Scott is an outstanding attorney and a passionate advocate for standards of integrity and excellence in our profession."
Scott J. Eldredge is one of two Burg Simpson attorneys who are currently members of ABOTA, the other being the firm's founding shareholder, Michael S. Burg.
Mr. Eldredge has been practicing law continuously with Burg Simpson since his admission to the Colorado Bar in 1983. Mr. Eldredge's practice focuses on complex medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and large product liability cases, as well as mass tort litigation.
