NEW YORK, Aug. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bulova President Gregory Thumm is pleased to announce that Robert Christiano has been appointed Executive Vice President, Global Marketing, effective August 3, 2015. In this role, Mr. Christiano will lead the overall global strategic marketing initiative to drive brand development and growth worldwide, and will report directly to Mr. Thumm.

Mr. Christiano brings 25+ years of brand-building expertise to this new position, including Fossil Group as Senior Vice President Sales/Marketing EMEA, the company's second-largest region in sales turnover. Other experience with fashion-aware classics such as Dr. Martens, Reebok and Clarks included responsibilities for sales and distribution at retail/wholesale levels, licensing initiatives, brand marketing and product development. Immediately prior to joining Bulova, he was tasked with setting up the European offices/operations for the Detroit-based Shinola lifestyle brand. Mr. Christiano credits his global perspective to living and working in Europe, before returning to the US to join Bulova as Senior Vice President International, Business Development.
