Ares issued 58.5 million new shares, paying 0.325 shares to Allied shareholders for each share held to acquire the firm's $2.0 billion in assets and $944 million in liabilities.
Ares reported its first quarter since the Allied deal closed in August, posting a Q2 profit of $330.2 million, or $1.73 per share, powered by a large capital gain related to the Allied transaction. Adjusted core EPS fell to 32 cents from 33 cents."
