In her new role, Cangialosi will focus on building awareness and driving sales of Bullitt's consumer electronics portfolio, specifically rugged mobile devices for Cat phones and easy-to-use connected devices under the Kodak brand .
"As Bullitt continues to grow, North America will be a major driver of sales of our consumer electronics products. It is critical to establish a leadership team with proven industry expertise," said Richard Wharton, Bullitt-Group's co-chief executive officer. "Theresa's deep knowledge of the mobile market and experience driving strategic relationships with telecom organizations make her a valuable addition to our team."
Prior to joining Bullitt, Cangialosi significantly increased Kyocera's client base by establishing a relationship with Verizon Wireless. She launched three Kyocera rugged devices replacing the category incumbent Casio and secured retail deals with Verizon's core retail stores, agent locations, national retailers including Radio Shack, Walmart and Amazon online and through Verizon's enterprise channels. Her work with Verizon Wireless resulted in an increased account revenue of 162% year over year and an increase in product opportunities within the Verizon Wireless's roadmap for Kyocera Communications.
Previously Cangialosi spent two years at Huawei as director of sales where she launched the Home Phone Connect and nine years at LG Electronics where she worked in the US handset division. During her time at LG she successfully developed a strong, loyal, customer base and landed high-profile accounts including the New Jersey Nets, New Jersey Devils, New York Jets, New York Giants, Boston Red Sox, and the women's professional soccer team, the Boston Breakers. Cangialosi consistently surpassed LG revenue and profit objectives bringing the business more than $1 billion in sales for two consecutive quarters.
"I am excited to be joining Bullitt Group at such a pivotal point in both the future of the company and the future of the mobile industry," said Cangialosi. "Our depth of knowledge and experience in working with tier one manufacturers and brands to create products that meet specific customer needs in niche market segments has been incredibly successful to date and I look forward to bringing my knowledge and expertise to further that success."
