OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- OGE Energy Corp. today announced the appointment of William J. Bullard as General Counsel for Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E).

As General Counsel for OG&E, Bullard will manage the day-to-day activities of both in-house and outside legal counsel, focusing primarily on regulatory, business and environmental matters as they relate to OG&E. In addition, he will continue to serve as Assistant General Counsel of OGE Energy.
Bullard has more than 30 years experience in governmental, utility and business matters. Prior to joining OGE Energy in 2001, he was a partner in the law firm of Williams, Box, Forshee and Bullard in Oklahoma City and represented numerous business and utility clients. He has served as the First Assistant Attorney General for two Oklahoma Attorney Generals, as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio and as Chief of Staff to a United States Congressman.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, National Energy Bar Association, Edison Electric Institute Legal Committee and American Corporate Counsel Association.
