The LinkStation 420, part of the LinkStation 400 Series, received high scores in the Home Audio/Video Accessories category for products designed to enable, connect and maintain home audio/video systems and components.

The LinkStation 400 Series of high performance network attached storage devices provides secure central storage and backup, offering an assortment of features and enabling consumers to organize and protect content, stream their favorite media and access files from any computer, smartphone or tablet device. The LinkStation 400 Series is available in a single-drive, two-drive and easily scalable diskless enclosure.
The LinkStation 420 delivers up to 8 TB of ultra-fast shared storage and backup for all PC and Mac computers on a home network. It is equipped with a high performance processor to deliver industry-leading transfer speeds of up to 100 MB/s. In addition, the device is DLNA Certified™ and can be used as an iTunes® server. It also features an integrated BitTorrent® Client for simplified media storage and streaming and P2P sharing.
