Bud Announces Fan Tray for 19-Inch Rack Applications

CLEVELAND, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Bud Industries, Inc., the leading manufacturer of electronic enclosures, announced a new 19-inch fan tray assembly that comes completely assembled with fans and ready to use. One of many 19-inch rack accessories from Bud, it is supplied with a unique digital temperature controller. Just attach the four rack mounting-brackets, position the fan tray in place, plug it in and set the desired temperature setting on the digital controller. A team of six powerful fans provides a total of 540 CFM cooling airflow whenever the temperature exceeds the set point.

The fan tray (1.75" x 19" x 18.56") fits a standard EIA 19-inch rack with mounting brackets and its height is a standard 1-U. The digital temperature controller is accurate to plus or minus 1 degree C (plus or minus 2 degrees F), and is specified for operation in ambient temperatures from 0 degrees to 50 degrees C (32 degrees to 122 degrees F).

Design features include an illuminated on/off switch conveniently located on the front panel, CE listed fans with long-life sleeve bearings, and an easily locatable temperature sensor with a 9 ft. cable.

The finish is a black, textured powder coating that is mar resistant and easy to clean. The fan tray is supplied with two rack mounting brackets and a detachable 5 ft. power cord.
