BTO Sports Launches Supercross Finale Contest on Facebook

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., March 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BTO Sports, a leading retailer of dirt bike and motocross gear, is pleased to announce their newest Facebook contest that will send one lucky winner and a friend to the Las Vegas Supercross Finale on May 7. Beginning March 1 at 12:01 AM (PST) and ending March 29 at 11:59 PM (PDT), contestants are to create a 2-3 minute film of themselves or friends riding a motorcycle while expressing how they feel about BTO Sports, and posting it on the BTO Sports Facebook Page.

The winner will be determined by which video has the most Facebook "likes" by the end of the 29-day contest period. Facebook users can vote on the video they like best once each day, and the video with the most votes at 11:59 PM (PDT) on March 29 will win the grand prize. The winner will be announced at 12:00 PM (PDT) on April 1, 2011.

"Whether they say, 'I love BTO Sports motorcycle gear' or 'Take me to Las Vegas, BTO Sports,' all they have to do is mention BTO Sports once in the video, and they can be as creative and funny as they want to," explained a BTO Sports representative.

The winner of the contest will receive a trip to the Supercross finale in Las Vegas. The prize package includes a $1,000(USD) check, accommodations at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for two days/ two nights, two tickets to the Supercross event in Sam Boyd Stadium on May 7, the chance to exclusively meet the BTO Sports/BBMX Suzuki riders: Michael Byrne (Byrner) and Jason Thomas (JT$) in the pits at the race, and take a full tour of the BTO Sports race team rig. The winning video will also be featured on the BTO Sports website. Contestants must be at least 21 years of age to participate.
