BT Sets Growth Goals for Conferencing Channel Partner Program
QUINCY, Mass., May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BT today announced ambitious growth targets for its US conferencing channel partner program. The program offers partners the opportunity to resell BT's industry leading audio, web, streaming and video conferencing services to their customers globally.
BT's US conferencing channel partner program experienced significant revenue growth over the past fiscal year, and the company anticipates continued growth in the program in the coming years -- largely in the area of video managed services.
Tim Passingham, BT Conferencing's general manager for the Americas, said: "We believe we can more than double our reseller revenue in the next two to three years. We have a unique mix of products and service that will enable us to continue to take market share and benefit from the overall growth in cloud-based collaboration services. I believe no other provider can match BT's video managed service expertise."
Passingham estimates the overall conferencing reseller market opportunity is in the $450-600 million range.
Scott Walters, senior analyst at Wainhouse Research, said: "BT Conferencing is positioning itself to become one of the power players in the conferencing service provider reseller arena. With BT's scale, global reach and breadth of offers -- including their strong video component -- they are poised to grow their resale business significantly in the coming years."
Passingham noted that BT's conferencing channel partner program enables partners to generate new revenue and profits quickly with a relatively low investment.
