Bryson G. Edmonds Named to Lead New Power and Industrial Division at Robins & Morton
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Robins & Morton announced today the formation of a Power and Industrial Division and named Bryson G. Edmonds Senior Vice President to lead the new division. The Power and Industrial Division will provide integrated full service engineering, procurement, construction and industrial maintenance services to the power and industrial markets. Initially, the focus for the new division will be power generation, chemical, minerals, pulp and paper, and hydrocarbon projects. Mr. Edmonds has more than 25 years of industrial engineering and construction management experience and is a registered professional engineer. Prior to joining Robins & Morton, Mr. Edmonds was Vice President of sales and marketing for the global power and industrial business unit of Houston, TX based KBR Inc. Before joining KBR, Edmonds was Vice President of sales for BE&K Inc., one of the nation's largest privately held industrial engineering and construction companies. At BE&K Edmonds also served as Vice President of construction services and Assistant to the President with responsibility for special projects, strategic and operational planning. Mr. Edmonds holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Virginia and a masters of business administration from the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Edmonds has served on the board of advisors of the Construction Industry Institute at the University of Texas, Austin, and a member of the National Industrial Contractors Council of the Associated Builders and Contractors. He is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers.
