Brustin & Lundblad, Ltd. Commemorates The Town Of Gambo, Newfoundland For Their Hospitality During The September 11, 2001 Crisis
CHICAGO, Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Marvin Brustin, BRUSTIN AND LUNDBLAD, LTD., will be departing for Gambo, Newfoundland on Friday, September 28, 2018, to prepare and finalize a commemorative plaque or other fixed object in gratitude for Gambo's friendship, hospitality and loyalty in welcoming and providing for American plane passengers who were diverted to Newfoundland on September 11, 2001. In addition, the plaque will reaffirm the friendship between American and Canadian citizens, whose reception of Americans that day in Gambo was gracious, all-inclusive and heartfelt.
In addition to the plaque, Mr. Brustin will be funding two partial scholarships to a local college for one male and one female high school student, on behalf of the Americans, including he and his wife, who were also attended to by Gambo citizens on September 11, 2011, as a token of gratitude and with the goal of a perpetual friendship between Americans and Canadians.
