LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Brushfire/Republic/UMe announces the vinyl release of Jack Johnson and Friends, Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George in celebration of the 10th anniversary since the album was first released. Fans can pre-order the 12" vinyl now through http://www.jackjohnsonmusic.com/ for a chance to win an autographed copy of the new vinyl or an original poster signed by Johnson and his band. On April 1, fans can purchase the vinyl through record stores and online retailers.
Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies features songs written for and inspired by the animated film, Curious George. Joined by his band (Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski and Zach Gill) Jack duets with three other songwriters (Ben Harper, G. Love and Matt Costa) on their original songs and covers the White Stripes' "We're Going to be Friends." Originally released in February 2006 and one of the most celebrated children's records to date, the album set a new record for the most digital album downloads in a week and has gone on to sell over 1.49 million copies in the United States.
