CHICAGO, Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is pleased to announce the sale of Cyprotex PLC (AIM:CRX) to Evotec AG (XTRA:EVT). BGL's Healthcare & Life Sciences team served as the exclusive financial advisor to Cyprotex in the transaction. Evotec acquired 100 percent of the outstanding shares of Cyprotex in an all-cash transaction valued at £55.7 million effective December 15, 2016.
With the acquisition, Evotec will strengthen its high-end drug discovery platform and capabilities with access to the market's most industrialized ADME-Tox platform and proven expertise in in vitro ADME screening, mechanistic and high-content toxicology screening, and predictive modeling.
