Brothers Embark on Dickey's Barbecue Pit Adventure
Illinois to Welcome Two More Locations of Country's Fastest Growing Barbecue Chain
ORLAND PARK, Ill. and OAK PARK, Ill., Aug. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Brothers, Joseph and John Bak, decide to embark on a new adventure and open two Dickey's Barbecue Pit locations in Illinois.
"We always wanted to open a restaurant and fell in love with the food and business model," said Joseph, who has a Bachelors Degree in Finance.
This is the first franchise venture for the brothers, who will expand Dickey's Barbecue Pit to four locations operating in Illinois.
"Orland Park and Oak Park are huge commercial markets and will be the perfect setting for Dickey's barbecue," said franchisee John, who has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
Texas-based Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Dickey's Barbecue Pit is well-known for their pit-smoked signature meats, complimentary ice cream and the big yellow cups.
