BRIDGEWATER, N.J., June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Law Office (ILO) and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) recently announced the Global Counsel Award recipients at a gala event in New York City on June 12, 2014. The Brother International Corporation Law Department was bestowed the honor of the 2014 Global Counsel Team of the Year in the General Commercial Category.

The 2014 Global Counsel Award winners were selected from over 4,000 individual nominations from corporate counsel and law firm partners. The criteria included effective communication, legal understanding, commercial awareness, depth and strength of team, and management skills with the intent of identifying those that excel in their respective fields.
