Brother International Corporation - USA Announces Top Management Changes

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Brother International Corporation (BIC-USA) announced today that Tadashi Ishiguro has become the Director and Chairman of BIC-USA, and will be spending more of his time focusing on strategic and long-term initiatives. In addition, Kazufumi ("Kaz") Ikeda has become Director and President of BIC-USA.

Mr. Ikeda served as Director and Executive Vice President of BIC-USA, responsible for all of the administrative functions of BIC-USA since 2013. He was first employed by Brother Industries, Ltd. (Japan) ("BIL (Japan)") in 1985. He held various positions with the Brother Group, including General Manager of Corporate Planning for BIL (Japan) and Deputy Managing Director responsible for general management of Brother International Germany GmbH. He has been with BIC-USA since 2013.

Mr. Ishiguro was hired by BIL (Japan) in 1984, and was transferred to Brother International Corporation (USA) in 1987. Mr. Ishiguro held numerous positions with BIC-USA and was named President of BIC-USA in January 2005.
