Scanning documents and photos is simple and easy. While holding the Smart Scan button on the left side of the mouse, users freely glide the mouse over the document in any pattern and watch as the image is stitched together on the screen.

Furthermore, LG's Optical Character Recognition technology automatically converts scanned text to editable Microsoft Word® or Excel files®. Scanned images and text also can be integrated easily with the application Evernote.®

Unlike traditional scanners that are limited by frame size, the Brookstone Scanner Mouse scans documents and images up to 16.5" x 11.7" in high-resolution 320 dpi. The accompanying software includes convenient editing functions including contrast, brightness, zoom, resize, rotate and crop.

When not doubling as a scanner, the Brookstone Scanner Mouse can be used as an everyday point-and-click computer mouse with a durable dual laser sensor, track wheel, smooth motions, and a comfortable grip.
