Brookfield Residential Wins 7 Eliant Home Buyers' Choice Awards For Extraordinary Customer Experience
Los Angeles and San Diego Divisions Receive High Scores Among Builders Across North America
COSTA MESA, Calif., April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Brookfield Residential's (NYSE: BRP) Los Angeles and San Diego divisions recently won seven prestigious Eliant Home Buyers' Choice Awards for extraordinary customer experience. The homebuilder, actively creating new homes in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, scored in top categories among 45 builders across North America in the Eliant 2014 Home Buyers' Choice Awards.
Brookfield Residential received Premier (1st, 2nd, 3rd Place) or Honorable Mention awards in seven of Eliant's most significant categories. This includes First Place among high-volume new home builders in The Purchase Experience category, Second Place among high-volume builders in the Construction Experience category, and Second Place among high-volume builders in the First Year Customer Service Experience category.
"The Eliant Home Buyers' Choice Awards are an essential, objective measurement of how we are satisfying our customers, from the sales experience through their experience of living in our communities," said Brookfield Residential Senior Marketing Director Mercedes Meserve. "These seven awards really belong to our many team members, including all those from purchasing, construction, design, sales and customer care. It is their dedication that has allowed Brookfield Residential to score so highly among so many other companies in the U.S. and Canada."
The awards are based on homebuyer satisfaction surveys from January 1 to December 31, 2013, in partnership with RET Staffing (Real Estate Temps) of Newport Beach, CA, and imortgage, headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ. The awards go to builders in three size segments based on total 2013 closings: High Volume Home Builders or Divisions (more than 250 homes closed), Large Home Builders or Division (100-249 homes closed) and Medium Home Builders or Divisions (less than 100 homes closed)
In addition to the above categories, Brookfield Residential's Los Angeles and San Diego divisions received Honorable Mentions for The Purchase Experience among large new home builders, The Construction Experience among large builders, Overall First-Year Quality among high-volume builders, and Overall Home Purchase & Ownership Experience among multi-divisional builders (regardless of sales volume). This final award – "The Eliant" – is among Eliant Awards most prestigious, as it considers customer ratings of the three key measures: satisfaction with overall quality, the builder's meeting commitments and the customers' willingness to refer a friend to the builder.
