NEW YORK, June 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Attorney Advertising -- Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC is investigating potential claims on behalf of purchasers of the securities of The Men's Wearhouse, Inc.  ("Men's Wearhouse" or the "Company") (NYSE: MW).  The investigation focuses on whether the Company and its executives breached their fiduciary duties to the stockholder.

On June 19, 2013, The Company announced in a regulatory filing that it has terminated George Zimmer from his position as Chief Executive officer ("CEO"), effective as of June 18, 2013.   The Company gave no reason for the dismissal of their CEO, but Zimmer accused the board of trying to silence him for expressing concerns about the direction of the company.  Mr. Zimmer said in statement, "Instead of fostering the kind of dialogue in the boardroom that has, in part, contributed to our success, the board has inappropriately chosen to silence my concerns...".  In light of Mr. Zimmer's termination, the Company also announced that it is postponing its Annual Meeting of Shareholders that was originally scheduled for June 19, 2013.
