De Tezanos was selected as a finalist from nearly 100 nominations by a panel of independent judges.

Matias de Tezanos, honored by the Economic World Forum in 2009 as a Young Global Leader at the age of 29, has been a successful Internet entrepreneur since 2000 when he founded Hoteles.com. The site became one of the top hotel reservations sites in Spanish and was acquired by Expedia in 2002.
