Brodeur Partners names PR veteran Sarah Marshall Senior Vice President for the Southwest Region
The firm also expands Southwest presence with new Austin office
BOSTON, Dec. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global public relations agency Brodeur Partners has named 30-year communications veteran Sarah Marshall as senior vice president of the firm's Southwest Region.
Marshall, who will be based in the firm's Phoenix office, brings to the position a long record of producing results for clients in high technology, telecom, energy, sports and entertainment, consumer and nonprofit industries.
Brodeur will also open an office in Marshall's hometown of Austin, Texas, and is considering expanding into Nevada. In addition to Austin and Phoenix, the firm has offices in Boston, New York, Washington D.C., and Portsmouth, N.H.

Marshall was most recently a consultant working in the areas of crisis communications, public relations and executive coaching. Sarah has worked with clients such as AMD, Aspen Heights, C3 Presents (management company for ACL Festival and Lollapalooza), Austin's Marathon Relay, Real Estate Council of Austin, Texas Instruments DLP, and Infor.

Marshall started her career in politics and then ventured into energy, high tech and telecom. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Texas.
Marshall is frequent speaker for PRSA, IABC and local universities and colleges. She is a past president of the Austin chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and has served on the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce board and served as Communications Chair. In 2006, she was honored with the PRSA Austin Chapter Lifetime Achievement Award after winning a steady stream of awards from 1994 to 2005, including Austin PRSA Star and Rising Star awards, the Austin Chapter Award twice.
Marshall serves on the board of Texas4000 for Cancer and chairs the board for Champions 4 Children. She is a past member of the Austin Mayor's Fitness Council, Junior Achievement board, Meals and Wheels and More, The Austin Project, as well as The Austin Trail Foundation board.
