Brodeur Partners named one of PRWeek's Best Places To Work
BOSTON, Dec. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Brodeur Partners today announced it has been named one of PRWeek's 2017 Best Places To Work.
The title honors standout agencies and in-house communications departments across the US that are "moving company culture forward and fueling business success." Brodeur was one of three winners in the midsize agency category (51-200 US staffers).
"If we had to pick one honor for our agency, this would be it," said Brodeur CEO Andrea "Andy" Coville. "Nothing is more important than company culture because it means everything to the satisfaction of the professionals at Brodeur Partners who devote such a big part of their lives to our shared endeavor. And their satisfaction translates into excellent performance and big results for our clients, which is why we come to work every day."
Brodeur was one of 14 organizations honored in four categories: Small Agency, Midsize Agency, Large Agency, and In-House.
"Since 2013, PRWeek has been proud to present its annual Best Places To Work list, which is determined through a rigorous process involving judges that represent top talent and recruitment organizations," said Gideon Fidelzeid, managing editor at PRWeek. "The industry's enthusiasm in taking part has been encouraging as it indicates just how important it is to create an environment in which employees can do their absolute best."
Flexibility and work-life balance spotlighted
Best Places to Work goes beyond what it means to attract talent, according to PRWeek. Through a dual quantitative and qualitative analysis of the PR and comms industry, including a survey that generated nearly 3,000 responses from the employees themselves, PRWeek editors distilled their findings into an in-depth study on the state of the workplace today.
Per the data, only 62 percent of respondents this year categorized their workplace flexibility as "excellent." Industry-wide, this leaves room for improvement on a matter of great importance to employees. Notably, organizations honored this year scored particularly well in this regard.
In addition, honorees excelled in promoting work-life balance, which is particularly noteworthy inasmuch as only 56 percent of overall respondents rated their organization "excellent" in this area.
The findings of this year's Best Places to Work, as well as the number of new agencies being honored this year, is indicative of the accelerated pace of innovation in the workplace.
