Brock White Construction Company LLC Announces New Acquisition

APPLETON, Wis., May 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Construction Supply Group (CSG), a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, is expanding its footprint by purchasing five branches of Gerdau Construction Products.   The locations included in the sale are Urbana and Decatur in Illinois, Eldridge Iowa, and Madison and Appleton in Wisconsin.  The transaction closed Monday, May 1, 2017. CSG will be dividing the branches between Brock White Company LLC (under the brand name of BW Supply) and Stetson Building Materials.   Brock White/BW Supply has acquired the Appleton, Wisconsin location and Stetson has acquired these four Gerdau locations:  Madison, Wisconsin, Decatur, Illinois, Urbana, Illinois and Eldridge, Iowa.  This transformation will strengthen the Brock White/BW Supply's and Stetson's ability to serve all customers in these territories. 

The existing BW Supply branch location at 4807 W Prospect Ave in Appleton will continue to focus on general contracting products, landscape and masonry product lines as well as geotextiles.  This new BW Supply Appleton branch located on 1180 S. County Highway CB in Appleton will continue to operate as it does today and focus on its strength in rebar fabrication.  The operations are expected to continue in a "business as usual" mode.  All normal lines of communication will remain unchanged.
