BRK's Gen 2 Technology to Livestream Big Wave Surfer Andrew Cotton at Nazare, Portugal
HENDERSON, Nevada, Aug. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- BRK, Inc. (the "Company") (OTC:BRKK) is pleased to announce that it is developing a cutting-edge broadcast system, incorporating both camera and wireless technologies, to showcase world-renowned big wave surfer Andrew Cotton's upcoming presence at Nazare, Portugal.
Billed as the largest surfable wave in the world, Gen2 technology aims to broadcast perspectives from Mr. Cotton's vantage point as he surfs at what is a marquee "biggest waves in the world" event. The live broadcast is envisioned to stream on Facebook Live, and will take place sometime in Q1 2021 - depending on surf conditions which dictate when the surf competition will be held.
Mr. Michael Kovacocy, COO and head of IR, stated: "the chance to broadcast Andrew's ride at Nazare live to thousands of fans across the world will showcase BRK's Gen2 technology and accelerate our branding and commercialization initiatives in a cost effective manner."
Mr. Daniel Serruya, CEO, added: "surfing is an action sport without compare, and having our Gen2 technology highlight what Andrew will see as he tackles the top wave in the world will be a milestone moment for our company and shareholders. Furthermore, we anticipate building on Nazare and using it as a stepping stone alongside other initiatives to being present at the Olympics in Japan."
