Brite-Strike Tactical Illumination Reports Domestic Sales Up 22% For First Half Of 2012

PLYMOUTH, Mass., Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Brite-Strike Tactical Illumination Products, Inc. (PINK SHEETS: BSTK) announced today that domestic sales were up 22% in the first half of 2012.  "We are pleased with such strong first half results as we are typically back-half loaded," said Brite-Strike's President and CEO Glenn Bushee.

"We are expecting a big fourth quarter as we have picked up a number of new distributors in our core law enforcement and military sector and have added new skus to our existing specialty retailers and picked up new distribution in the outdoor hunting market. We have a heavy marketing and advertising program in place to drive business in key sectors," Bushee stated.  "We have ramped up inventory levels to be able to meet demand for the fourth quarter."

"We have just shipped the first order this year to the Jordanian Armed Forces, and are in the process of shipping the second. We also expect to ship additional orders this year to several Middle East Countries," Bushee said.

"We expect sales to be up over 25% for the year and could be substantially higher if some of the military contracts we have working on for over two years hit by year end," Bushee also said.  "Military business is very different from consumer business as it takes two years or more to get a contract in place, but  once your product is approved it can flow through the pipeline for several years," stated Former B.
