Bristol County Elks to Start 'East Bay Cares' Program

CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Bristol County Elks will provide food to those in need through local food pantries.  Volunteers will be from the Elks Lodge and service personnel from other community organizations.

"East Bay Cares" Program will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the Bristol County Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, Bristol County Elks Lodge No. 1860 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
