Integrating with August Home brings Brilliant users even more convenience and remote control over their homes. Users can lock and unlock their door directly from specific rooms on their Brilliant Control or on the go with their Mobile App. They can also set up August as part of their home automation scenes.

See who's ringing and let them in: When a Brilliant Control is connected to an August Lock and a Ring Doorbell, you can see who is knocking right from your Brilliant's screen, and you can tap unlock to let them in.
Simple 'Scenes': Set the right scene from any room that has a Brilliant Control. For instance, are you ready for bed? Tap "Goodnight" and Brilliant will lock your doors, turn off your lights, turn down the temperature, and mute your music.
Brilliant also has support for smart locks through an integration with SmartThings Hub, which offers access to ~35 smart locks.
New Hires
In addition to new partners, Brilliant has expanded its executive team with several key hires in finance, business development, and marketing as it continues to build out its organizational capabilities.
Chief Financial Officer, Laurie Chan Prior to Brilliant, Chan most recently comes from Hewlett Packard Enterprise where she held various leadership roles most recently as segment CFO for the Communications Solutions Business. During her 11-year tenure at Hewlett Packard, Chan oversaw multiple multibillion-dollar lines of business, including their strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. As CFO for Brilliant, Chan will lead financial operations and planning through its next stage of growth.
VP of Business Development, Lisa Petrucci Prior to Brilliant, Petrucci has spent more than 20 years in a variety of leadership roles including channel management, marketing, and sales at companies large and small. Most recently Lisa led the Global Strategic Alliances team at Dun & Bradstreet where she was responsible for partner revenue, channel strategy, and go to market planning. Under her watch, Petrucci drove revenues in excess of $100m through key partnerships including Microsoft, salesforce.com, Oracle, Google, and NetSuite. As VP of Business Development at Brilliant, Lisa is responsible for Brilliant's Builder Program and third-party ecosystem partners.
VP of Marketing, Michael Williams Prior to Brilliant, Williams brings 14 years of consumer marketing and product experience to lead marketing, communications, and branding. Williams was previously a member of the founding team at Jawbone, where he led marketing, product strategy and partnerships, helping to conceive, develop, and launch eight award-winning products. After Jawbone, Michael started his own company and was the Co-Founder and CEO of Instigate Labs and their award-winning product, Moment.
